Trust Bank Lets Singapore Users Buy US Stocks from Just US$10 with Fractional Trading

New Trust App feature offers access to 7,000+ US stocks and ETFs, plus a zero-commission promo until June 2026

Singapore, 22 January 2026 – Trust  Bank has launched fractional trading for US stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) through the Trust App, making it the first banking app in Singapore to introduce this feature. The move is aimed at making investing simpler and more affordable for everyday users who want access to global markets without needing a separate brokerage platform.

The new service is powered by a partnership with Saxo Singapore and gives Trust customers access to more than 7,000 tradable US stocks and ETFs directly inside the app. Trust said the goal is to reduce the usual hassle of switching between banking and trading platforms, allowing customers to fund trades straight from their savings account and manage everything in one place.

What fractional trading means for everyday investors

Fractional trading allows users to buy a portion of a stock or ETF instead of purchasing a full share. With Trust’s new feature, customers can start investing in US equities from as little as US$10. This makes it easier for new investors to participate in well-known US companies that can be expensive to buy as whole shares.

Trust highlighted that popular US stocks such as Tesla and Meta have traded above S$500 per share at times, which can feel out of reach for many retail investors. Fractional access helps people build a diversified portfolio even with smaller amounts of money, rather than needing a large upfront budget.

Early traction shows strong interest.

Trust said the feature has already gained attention since the bank first opened access to users on a waitlist in November 2025. During that early period, around 10,000 customers opened trading accounts. Among those who traded, 45% used fractional trades, showing strong demand for smaller-ticket investing options.

Zero commission promotion until June 2026

To encourage more people to try the feature, Trust Bank is offering zero commission on trades until 30 June 2026. The bank is also waiving custody, platform, and settlement fees for trading during this period, making it even easier for first-time investors to start without worrying about extra costs.

On top of that, eligible customers can receive a free fractional stock worth up to US$500 when they complete their first trade of at least US$1,000. Trust said the reward is given through a digital scratch card and will appear in the customer’s portfolio once markets open. The promotion runs until 31 March 2026, with full terms and conditions available inside the Trust App.

A push to make investing simpler inside one app

Trust Bank CEO Dwaipayan Sadhu said the new platform is designed to make investing more straightforward, transparent, and accessible by allowing customers to trade US stocks and ETFs directly in the Trust App, supported by Saxo’s brokerage system behind the scenes.

Saxo Singapore CEO Mahesh Sethuraman added that the partnership supports Saxo’s wider goal of expanding access to investing and encouraging long-term participation in markets, building on the firm’s experience in Singapore over the past two decades.

Important reminder for investors

Trust also noted that TrustInvest is an investment product and not a bank deposit. As with all investing, there are risks involved, including the potential loss of capital. The bank also stated that the advertisement has not been reviewed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

With fractional trading now available, Trust Bank is making it easier for Singapore users to enter US markets with lower starting amounts, smoother app-based access, and a promotional fee-free period that could appeal to both beginners and regular investors.
